OCAA 2004 Election Board of Directors
ELECTION NOTICE Only dues paying members of the association are eligible to nominate candidates.
The Board of Directors of the Orange
County Attorneys Association is currently composed of eleven members.
Seats are apportioned based on membership in the five offices of County
Counsel, District Attorney, Public Defender,
Alternate Defender and Child Support Services.
Because of the smaller number of deputies in the offices of The term of office is two years. In order to insure consistency and continuity, six members are elected in odd numbered years and five members are elected in even numbered years. The Board members whose terms expire in October are Deputy District Attorney Wendy Brough, Deputy Public Defenders Bernadette Cemore, Danni Murphy and Linda Hewitt and Child Support Services Deputy Guy Ormes.
The Board is comprised almost entirely of Senior Deputies.
The perspectives of new deputies is desired.
